FILM PREMIERE and DVDs
Jocasta has been shown at
several film festivals this Spring
and will have it's official New
York premiere as part of the
NewFilmmakers NY series at
the Anthology Film Archives on September 24th at
9m. The showing will feature a live performance by
the musicians from the soundtrack.
PERFORMANCES
Horobi No Naka Kara was performed by the
Gettysburg College Women' Chorus at the
College Music Society super-regional
conference in April.

in Quileute, we'll be
giving you another
chance later on this
summer. Check back for

along with the line-up of luminaries who will be
performing.
A huge welcome to the folks at SPEAK
Percussion in Melbourne, Australia who will be
collaborating on the "Counting In Quileute"
project. The plan is to get me down under for
residencies in '09 and again in '10. See the

I'll be performing with the Mighty CCI House Band for their 40th anniversary celebration of the White Album on June 21 on Cornelia St. 30 new pieces by30 composers. This will be one of those don't-miss-it-New-York-on-the-streets kind of events.
Keep an eye out for performances this summer by a new band featuring Kevin on
trombone along with the inimmitable Daniel Carter and the ultra-cool Manny Oquendo
Following the great success of Jocasta ,Kevin will be
teaming up again with Elise Kermani on a new art film
project exploring the enigmatic relationship between
E. A. Poe and Charles Baudelaire, set at the spetacular
Bannerman Castle. Links and more info soon!

BREAKING NEWS
Kevin has just been awarded the Japan-US Friendship
Commission Creative Artist Residency. This award
is a huge honor that will place Kevin in Japan for six
months during '09 allowing him to greatly expand his
work with endangered languages. (look for the
Counting in Quileute pages for more info)
Now that we're reorganizing this site, some of our
projects will have their own domains - this is where
you'll find the links to those sites. If a link isn't active
yet, check back in a few days. We're updating daily
